When working for the in-house design team at  Johnson & Wales I had the opportunity to work with many different chefs and students who were creating their own pop-up events. Hootenanny was a western-inspired event focused on recreating some of the signature dishes you would find in Nebraska.

To make the branding feel as Western as possible, I created a fun pattern containing cacti, cowboy boots, and horseshoes. I then used that pattern on the front and back of the menu I created. The colors I chose were based on the logo that my team member created, resulting in a cohesive, western-styled brand.
